Every time you go to Gouranga, you will have the opportunity to try wonderful dishes, with a light yet strong Indian seasoning that makes all the difference. It is a very satisfying lunch, from the appetizers to the main course and even the dessert. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with modern and cozy decor. The service is fast. The full menu costs R35 (no 10% surcharge). There are natural juices and juices with almond milk, which cost R6 and R8, respectively. It is worth getting the menu. The dish alone costs R25. On Fridays, they usually make vegetarian feijoada, which is definitely the best I have ever had. I also want to try the sandwiches one day, they look great!!

I would definitely give them 5star, don't expect classic fine dining restaurant. It is a nice calm and quiet place where you can relax. Now coming to the food, it was unique I would say kind of Indian food minus chillies. The starter was a kind of raita tasted really nice though I would have liked some cut green chillies in them. Dal was good resembling Rajma back home. The thing that resembled Vada tasted really good, I don't think it was fried may be baked. And finally the desert was commendable.
